Is there a way to change the system date in MES? I’m asking in the context of period end closing, and getting transactions in the correct period.
I think you’ll need to explain that a bit more.
@nstorm , i am guessing you are referring to the laborHed date on for the clock in record.
if so, just need you users to “clock out” after they have completed their shift.
We aren’t clocking in and out of jobs to report actual times. We only report quantity on jobs, and the labor is backflushed based on the standards we set up.
Let’s say someone completed an operation on the last day of a period, but forgets/fails to report in the system. It is now the next day, and the next period, and they realize that they forgot to report that operation. They need the transaction to be in the same period as the work actually completed - how is this accomplished?
