Pat -

Open your progress explorer and make sure your entries under the app server
are running.

there is an order to bringing up all the servers under the Prog Exp Tool.
First - DB
Second - Main APP server for your db
Third - next app server in list for your db
Fourth - final app server in list for your db

If all 4 things ain't running - your client won't either. the schema and
admin icons do work since they don't use the app servers.

HTH
Calvin

Dick,
I have administrator rights, I tried logged in as administrator no luck,
funny "Vantage Admin Tools" and "Vantage Change Schema" icons work.

All,

Running the Vantage or Vantage MES icons I'm getting:

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Chick on OK to
terminate the application.
