We're in Vantage 5.2. We formerly assigned our salespeople to
accounts by territory, so Vantage has been wonderful.
There is dicussion that we might change our methods and begin
assigning salespeople by Product Group, whereby, there could
potentially be 2 or more different salespeople for one customer,
depending on the product they purchase. In fact, there would not be
any territory boundries any longer...each product group would be sold
world-wide.
If anyone is currently doing anything similar, please let me know how
you use Vantage to accomplish this. Any insight is welcome...BEFORE
we make this change.
For anyone using 6.0, does it still limit you to automatically
assigning salespeople by state/zip code?
