Need help from group - Restore Vantage 4.00.603 - 4.00.901

Well I'm glad to hear I can use the database files. I couldn't
remember when Progress with to that multi-volume thingie.

I don't have the patch files though and they don't list any version
4 patches at the Epicor site anymore. Do any of you have them. Let
me know and I'll give you e-mail instructions.

Here's the short version first:
Vantage 4.00.901 was running on a laptop as a stand alone server.
The batch files to do the database backups were on it but they never
ran them during the year and a half they used it. The hard drive
died.

Their computer guy used a Linix boot floppy to copy the contents of
the hard drive to another system. They want me to put Vantage back
together so they can run their year-end reports.

Here's what I need:
Does anyone know how to get a functional database back from the
actual version 4 database files when no backup was made?

I have the original 4.00.603 CD and license codes. I need the patch
(es?) to bring Vantage back up to 4.00.901


By the way this installation was done with Epicor's permission when
our companies split after we were purchased. I don't think they
would help fix this for free though.

(1) install Vantage and upgrade to same patch levels as the DB
