In 8.03.409c (and I expect higher), you can use a summary query to do this...you check the box to summarize the table in version 8 - I am not sure if there is something similar in version 9...For example, I have a BAQ that sums labor hours per Employee...EmpBasic is not checked, LaborDtl is checked...Calculated field for hours is TOTAL(LaborDtl.LaborHrs). Of course, yours would use the JobOper table?

Need to get earned labor hours from job receipts to inventory. Our methods are sometimes as much as 4 operations and each have a production standard of pieces/hour. When trying to write a BAQ, we get four lines for each part number, relates to how many operations we have on the job. Is there a way to only get one line per job receipt and have labor hours for each operation summed-up?
