We have a new company setup and need to setup a payroll manager. How do you setup the user to be able to assign payroll managers without them having been setup as a payroll manager first?
I’ve tried going in as Manager with no luck. I know there is a check box somewhere that I’m missing but can’t remember where.

If there is no user with payroll manager rights then the first Security Manager to open the Payroll Manager program will get the rights.
So if you can’t launch Payroll Manager with a Security Manager then another user must already have rights, you could probably find it in the admin console or through sql/baq.

Is that the Userfile.DspPayrollMgr field that you mean for the baq?
DspPayrollMgr along with PayrollMgr in Erp.UserFile, or PayrollMgr in Erp.UserComp.
