I am setting up a new plant in an existing environment. We are separating OEM and AFTMKT. I have a few questions and hope someone out their can help me.
Are SO’s plant specific? (When I moved warehouses I got a notification that certain SOs were moved but I see them in both plants.
Sales orders can cross Sites (AKA Plants)… in other words, you can be logged into Site 1, enter an order, and specify that it should be shipped from Site 2. This is done in the Order Release tab.
Also, if the product’s primary sales site is Site 2, then the system will automatically choose site 2 even when logged into site 1.
You set a parts primary sales site in the Product Group table.
