Just set the function to throughout the day and have it check SugPODtl.CreatedOn (or keep track of the SugNum) to keep it from reporting on previously reported records.
The hassle of multiple alert emails is, IMO, more of an issue of getting said alert 30 minutes later. People need less noise and fewer clicks so they can spend more time working and less time inbox managing. YMMV
Thanks a lot for this Sue. Is there any way I can get modify the “DB Access From Code” ? Right now, It is in Read Only mode but I would like to be able to Read and Write.
Admittedly, I’ve got 1 function that does write to DB, but it’s a shameful hackjob I had to resort to because the alternative was getting certain users (who didn’t believe in what I was trying to do) to organize some stuff they didn’t want to and the BO’s weren’t cooperative.
It’s better now, but buying credibility sometimes comes at the cost of one’s self respect.
