No, I simply protect it with Access Security and Network Security.
Users are not allowed into design mode on any of the objects in the
DB. How would splitting make it more secure for you? You're merely
putting the data on the server and the forms and reports that make up
the front on end on the clients. I know it goes against the common
practice, but I've always thought it is much easier to administer
when I'm dealing with a single file in a single location. I've been
designing and administering Access DB's for about 6 years and have
yet to have a problem with the way I'm doing it.
