Off Topic - Temp. Help Vanage/Financial

Be as specific as possible with your queries-ALWAYS give details such
as: Version of Vantage, Version of Progress, Vantage patches you have on
hand, as well as what patches you have applied. Server operating system,
version & patch level. Citrix or Terminal Server Version & patches. Number
of user licenses, modules installed, Server and/or Workstation hardware
platform. Are you converting from a previous version of Vantage, Vista, or
DCD Classic? Are you using (or intend to use) Data Collection?

Some of us filter on subject line, so be specific there, too.

Some of us only download once a day OR in "digest" format, so make your
postings as far in advance as possible.

Epicor's Site has quite an extensive KB (knowledge base), so you might
check for answers THERE, before posting to the group. Their site also has
quite a collection of RB (Report Builder) reports to choose from. All
posted reports are "freeware," that is, there is no charge to use them.

I'm not sure that this is appropriate for this list so I'll apologize
in advance if it's not, but I'm pretty desperate, as you will see. We
are new users of Vantage and are going live with 4.0 on October 1st,
maybe. Our Secretary/Treasurer has some non-elective surgery that he
just found out about that is going to incapacitate him for at least 4
to 6 weeks as of October 9th. He is a key person both in our
organization and our implementation of Vantage and we probably can't
go live without him.

Regardless of whether or not we go forward with the live
implementation of Vantage, we are going to have the expense of an
account temp type to help out. So my question boils down to: Is there
a resource other than Epicor out there for temporary help with both a
financial background and Vantage experience? Hopefully, someone with
enough Vantage experience on the financial side to let us keep
our "go live" date and not postpone it again.

By way of background information, we are a 98 year old, fourth
generation, family owned company located in Libertyville, Illinois,
about 40 miles north of Chicago. We manufacture a make to order and
make to stock line of metal safety grating products and a proprietary
line of rapid transit car doors.
