Thanks to all the replies. I am using an old US Robotics modem at this
point. Wanted to make sure it was going to work before investing more.
Rick:
I finally came to the conclusion that I should just go at it the "hard way"
and I redid the parts that were printing incomplete. If there are any
special settings, I have yet to find one - however my overall experience
with Crystal is pretty minimal. Once I reworked the fonts, line lengths and
spacing, it worked fine. I will, however, carefully check each of our
Crystal forms before I release a user to fax it (especially since many of
them were "customized" by in house "help"). Zetafax was very easy to
install. I only have a couple of people using it right now on a test basis,
and due to server problems, the testing process has been a bit slow. Using
it is easy enough - it shows up as another printer and after a brief delay,
presents a screen asking for the fax number and info for the cover sheet.
There is a second screen that has space for a message. There is an address
book, but I haven't been there yet either. I purchased a 25 user package
from CDW for $1123.00. That includes the e-mail gateway which I have not
yet gotten in to.
Hope that helps and thanks for the input. :)

Maybe if you try switching back to the (bland) original/basic form(s) in
Vantage
and try Zetafax again to see if it's unique to the form in Crystal? I'm
very
interested in using Zeta to do the very same thing. Is it easy to setup?
use?
Where did you buy? How much? Wanna go on a date? Sorry, just
kidding...got a
little carried away...(that's what I do...)
Pleaase advise.
