On what date was an operation completed?

Create a pre-passed aggregate on payroll date and don't select total select
maximum (to get the last date labor was turned in on.) Prepassing this
variable will allow to put it in the filter so you can say all operations
that were completed on this date.

Subject: [Vantage] On what date was an operation completed ?

This is one of those odd trivia questions that I have been unable to crack.

From the Jobhead / Joboper / Labordtl sequence of tables.

I'd like to run a report from Progress Report Writer showing all operations
completed on a specific date for a specific work center showing the labor
detail records.

Such as:

Job-Number, Part-number, Description
---> Oper-seq, work-center, est-setup, act-setup, est-prod, act-prod,
job-qty, completed qty
--->---> clock-in-date, emp, clock-in-time, clock-out-time, lbr-hrs,
bur-hrs, setup/prod, qty-comp, operator-notes
--->---> etc. - show all records

The problem I'm running into is that I can't find a way from Report-Writer
to filter on the date the operation --was-- completed. From what I see I
need the date from the LAST labordtl record but if I filter on that I will
loose any labordtl records from previous days on the same job.

This should be easy ... what am I missing ?

Todd,

Create an alias of "LaborDtl" named "LabDetails" that joins back to
"Labordtl". Apply filter to "Labordtl" as you suggested.

Good luck
