Open4 HRIS and Vantage 6.1 Payroll

We are not planning on using the Open4 payroll module, only the HR module. What I need to know is if I change a pay rate in Open4 HR will it change the rate in Vantage? What about deductions? With our current HR program we must make changes in that program and then in Vantage, we are trying to eliminate duplication.

What is it you are needing to integrate? I guess I would question why use Open4 HRIS/Payroll if you are already using Vantage payroll?

Is there anyone out there who is using or used Open4 HRIS with the Vantage payroll module? We are looking at replacing our current HR software with Open4 but I need to know if Open4 integrates with Vantage payroll. They tell me it does but I want to know from someone who has actually used it.

Kathy,
We are using Vantage 8.03.4xx payroll along with Open4 HR. Our old computer system had a lot of HR built in it. Vantage payroll just has the bare basics. Open4 does integrate with Vantage payroll. Not everything in Vantage payroll is visible in Open4. Also, I don't believe anything in Open4 is visible in Vantage. If you need more specific information please feel free to email me. I didn't go thru Open4 training. Our HR person did, but isn't very computer literate and will have trouble answering your questions. I've had to do some troubleshooting in the interface because there were complaints that fields were changing in Vantage without anyone's aid (that would be the interface!). I also had to figure out what caused some major problems when we went from a weekly payroll to a biweekly payroll (that was also the interface). I think I could answer at least some of your questions as to the Open4 interface to 8.03.4xx; but I have no idea what's changed between 6.1 and 8.
