If the field or calculation is in the GroupFooter section of the report, you won't see the SUM option available. Something you might look into is using the "Running Totals" option. Second, you can always do manual running totals. This involves creating formulas which have shared variables to keep track of running totals. I've done it both ways. Doing it manually gets messy, but it works.

Hey everyone!
Why is it that certain fields or calculations are not allowed to be totalled in Crystal? I created a calculated field and Crystal does not allow me to sum or total the field in the summary part of the report.
This is a copy of the field that will not total:
IIF ({@OT} >0,{@OT},0)
This is the OT field that is being used in the calculation:
Sum ({LaborHed.PayHours}, {@WeekBeginDate}, "daily") - {?Weekly Hours}
Any ideas gang?
