1. Unless the workstation is Windows NT or 2000, there is not a way that
I'm aware of to lock a user out of Internet explorer. NT permissions on
iexplore.exe would do the job. If you are running windows 9x, there may be
a third party utility that would suit your purpose, but I don't know of any
off the top of my head.
2. Excell has a built in version of Visual Basic for Applications that is
very powerful. You can set up forms and prompt for variables. What is it
you are trying to do exactly?

Subject: [Vantage] (OT) Misc questions
1. Is there a way to password protect the Internet Explorer browser? I have
2 people who use the same computer and the same sign-on name. But, one of
the users is not allowed to have Internet access. I already password
protected Outlook Express but I'm not sure how or if I can password protect
Internet Explorer.
2. Is there a way to set up a macro in Excel to get it to prompt the user
to enter in variables in a spreadsheet?
Thanks!
