OT-Vantage Print Screen - printing problem

If I remember correctly when I had the symbols instead of text issue it was due to the exact font not being available so a "close" substitute was used...which was not always very close. I think this was resolved by finding a PC that was working OK and copying the fonts folder contents to a shared folder and then installing all the fonts in the that folder to the troubled PC....skipping past the warnings for fonts already there. This might also resolve the very small text issue.

You might also see if all the fonts defined in the Vantage.ini file are installed on that PC.

Hello all! Still on 5.0, we use Vantage screen prints to get the
hot and changed info to the Plant Super which has the username that
printed it and the date/time in the footer of the screen print (we
also have different types of schedules that he prints morning and
afternoon.) They just had another user start to do print screens
and for some reason on the computer she is using (HP notebook, XP
Pro) her footer prints so small that it just looks like a broken
line, you can barely tell there are letters of the alphabet in
there. I have seen on some computers where this will print symbols
of regular size instead of the letters that are suppose to be
there. As for the user with the small print, I had her try it on
her local HP deskjet, networked HP laserjet and networked Xerox
printers. All had the same problem. I had her print a Word doc
with headers and footers, they printed fine. We've looked in the
printer properties and display properties and nothing has done the
trick. Anyone have any idea what could be the culprit?? Thanks so
much!!
