Problems with printing

We are on Vantage 6.1, and started having this problem about 3 months
ago. It only happens on workstations which have XP Pro, sp2. In fact,
we never had any problem UNTIL we applied SP2 about 3 months ago. None
of my windows 2000 clients are having this problem.

So far, it only happens with Crystal reports, and the Vantage F6 print
screen. The only solution we have is to log out of Vantage, and back
in.... which works every time, although quite time consuming.

I just called tech support, and they played dumb and said that they have
heard about this from a couple of customers a few months ago. They
suggested it has something to do with changing printers, and told me to
have the users stop changing printers......... In other words instead
of trying to solve the problem, they wanted me to change the way we use
the software so the problem doesn't appear!!!

I am so sick of this!!! We are currently putting up with at least 6
bugs in Vantage that they are not going to fix till Vantage 8!!!!
We cannot even test Vantage 8 because our data will not convert due to a
bug in the conversion.(which has been turned over to Development over 2
months ago)

Yes. We are on 6.1. We have never found a solution. If anyone knows

Every once and a while when we try to print from Vantage, nothing
actually prints. If we click the print button in vantage, the vantage
screen pops up that says it's printing but no print icon appears in the
bottom right hand corner of windows that shows that a print job is in
the printer queue.

For it to work, we have to exit out of vantage and reenter to print.

Anybody else experiencing this? Any suggestions?
