Our reports are going directly to the Scheduled Tasks, how to restart task agent

We have users who are attempting to run/print any type of report and instead of printing, it’s either locking up or going to Scheduled Tasks. What do we need to do to resolve this issue? If we would like to restart the task agent, what order do we need to follow to stop and start? Thank you.

It’s been a while since I’ve worked with E9. Those were the days to remember. Anyway, the restart order is definitely key. You can look at the post on Apr 2017 in the below post for good info:
