Pack Slip including Bin Numbers

Matt,

Create a formula field in the parent report and make the formula
ToNumber ({ShipDtl.PackLine }) (or whatever the table is called in the
DBF).

Then link using that field. For some reason many of the number fields
are converted to Text fields when they are exported to the DBF. I still
do not understand the logic, but I have learned to live with it.

I've tried modifying this in Crystal to include the Bin Number for
each line item. I've run into all kinds of problems. For one this
starts by requiring a subreport to draw the Bin Number onto the
Packing slip. I got that in there ok, but when I create the
SubReport and my links, I cannot get the table linking that I want.
PackLine is a record in the ShipDtl table which is where I'm drawing
the BinNum from, but when I try linking to it, it is not available.

Has anyone else created this successfully? If so please help.
