how can we determine where or how a part is allocated - we are trying to make a part inactive but it states that it is allocated.
Part Tracker > On Hand > Allocations
This would be the first place to start.
If there is nothing there then check the Material Request Queue for any queue’s referencing the part.
If there is nothing there then do a BAQ on PartWhse for any Allocated Qty’s
and then a BAQ on PartAlloc, (which PartAlloc should show up in Part Tracker).
You could also run the Refresh Part Allocation process.
