Hi Lydia,

Are the costs of this revision different?

Hello, everyone:

Have an interesting situation, I know several of you have encountered. We
are building a part (call it 123). Part 123 has been at Rev B for most of
it's life. Now the customer has a different and parallel need (like a
different color, or a different version of the same part). We will be
selling both items.

Is it, in your experience, better to have different part numbers, rather
than selling two revision letters of the same part?

Input off-line if you have any suggestions.

Thanks a lot.
