This doesn’t seem right but at least in version 10.0.700.4, we don’t get tags for Non-Nettable bins. These are stock parts - not non-stock.
Filed a case with Epicor but just checking with others as our German colleagues are getting (understandably) anxious.
Thanks!

We ran into this exact same issue while migrating to 10.1.500.14 from 9.05.702A, as tags generated for Non-Nettable bins in Epicor 9.
We logged a case as well, but were told that the Epicor 9 functionality was actually a bug, and moving forward in E10 Non-Nettable bins would no longer generate tags for physical inventories. I’ll include their official response at the bottom of this for reference.
In our case, we chose to use the work-around provided by Epicor for our non-nettable physicals. There was also the alternative of changing the bins to be nettable, but the biggest issue with this is that MRP would then use quantities in these bins when performing its calculations.
Hope this helps.
===================================================================================
The system does not have a specific function on doing physical/cycle counts on non-nettable bins. The logic behind this is that, these are not applying against the running costs (nettable gains). This is similar logic to the customer supply bins. Since the parts are owned by the customer and not “You” then you cannot generate tags for them, as they do not apply towards your nettable gains.
You can do a physical/cycle count on the warehouse that contains the non-nettable bins. This will need to be done manually. Once you schedule or initialize the count, go to Cycle Count Part Selection Update. Click on the New icon. It will create a line item in the main field of the screen. You can add the part numbers here. For a full list of parts that should be in that warehouse, you can do a BAQ on the warehouse.
Next you would go to Cycle Count Maintenance and process as usual (generate tags, start count sequence, etc.).
Thanks @JasonBennett. I heard back from Epicor support and they gave us some interesting news:
Beginning in 10.1.600 we designed a new feature to Include Non Nettable Bins as an option when generating tags. While it is not available on prior versions, upgrading to the most recent release of this version will provide this option.
So that’s interesting…
Thanks!!!

Thanks for the heads up @Mark_Wonsil, looks like we’ll have to revisit this once we get to 10.1.600.
