PO Suggestions Not Making Sense

Hello, I am getting the below suggestion to order which is not making sense ?

Hi Connor,

If you put your days of supply out to 60 does it help? Also, we have noticed some bugginess with counting of in transit transfer orders correctly in certain versions of Epicor historically.

Nancy

Hello Nancy,

I will give it ago it seems strange why its suggesting to order to MOQ even though we will have sufficient stock by september which is weird.

Any chance something has changed on the demand side?

It looks like this is a purchased part with a manual Transfer and manual PO inbound as well?

The new PO suggestion makes sense on it’s own.

You are below minimum today so Epicor wants to get you back above minimum today, not in September.

The due date of 1/16 jives with the 150 (business)day lead time, and the 31 is in line with the min order quantity.

Why is it ignoring the other supply records? I am not exactly sure, but I have definitely seen it behave this way when the other supply records are created manually and also insufficient.

Your min on hand is greater than your max on hand. That generates a ton of noise all by itself. Everything is an exception.

Hello Gil,

It was decided not to set a max so we were not limited by a number but indeed forcasting

I have spoken with EpicCare this morning and they lady said manual po’s and transfer orders get ignored sometimes by the suggestions due to them not being made by po suggestions…
