Preventing Extra/Duplicate Job Receipt to Inventory?

Does anybody have a good way of preventing warehouse staff from receiving more product from a job into inventory than has been produced on the job? We've been having occasional issues with folks inadvertently receiving product twice. I'm thinking a BPM should be able to intercept this and throw up a warning but am not sure where to start. I know something similar was asked a while ago (http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/vantage/message/110746) but never saw a proposed solution. We're on Vantage 8.03.408
