Price Lock Bug?

Hi All,

I’m receiving reports of a “Price Lock Bug” in our current version of Epicor 9.05.605(explanation below). We’re planning to upgrade to E10 by the first of the year so if this is a non-issue in E10 then we’ll just live with it for now(unless there is something simple we can do), but if we’re doing something wrong / misunderstanding(e.g. the problem will persist) could someone help us to understand a better way to ensure we don’t generate $0 invoices and not get paid for product we ship?

Bug Description:

We enter a specific quantity and price in the sales order line. For some reason we change the quantity and we expect the pricing to remain the same because we checked the “Lock Unit Price” Unfortunately, what will happen is when we change quantity, our pricing changes to whatever pricing is associated with new quantity or zero if there is no pricing listed for qty selected. Say our customer has min order qty of 100 pieces, and we have only entered 100 piece pricing in the price book, any quantity less than 100 will result in price of $0 per unit… which gives us a zero dollar line…and if no one catches it… a zero dollar invoice (at least for that line).

Super easy to miss especially if not reprinting paperwork or double checking.
