I have been off for a few days, so I don't know of others have responded,
but we just purchased a Wasp 606 label printer. It was inexpensive compared
to it's competitors, but is built solidly. I have not noticed any major
problems so far, but admittedly it's early yet.

I used to work in warehouse management. Depending on what you need to adhear to and your envirnment. I would look a any of the Zebra printers. Their website is www.zebra.com. They are probably the best on the market.
