If you right mouse click on any VB form date field you get a calender with the current date default.

Here is a progress program that places the current date into the clipboard.
If you setup the VB form to run this program, the date will be placed on
the clipboard. Then run the command to SET the VB form field date equal
to the clipboard. Hope this helps.........
