Purchase Order's with no Vendor Listed

Mike, check in your vendor tracker to see if the first vendor listed is a
blank line. If so go into the Vendor master and delete the blank vendor.
If blank vendor is loaded, then it is a valid vendor for your PO's.

We are using Vantage 5.00.334. Is anyone else having problems with Purchase
orders being created without a vendor attached? When we look at open PO's
through the order entry browser there are PO's listed that have no Vendor ID
or Name attached. We are not able to open these in order entry because we
get errors that say "**No POHeader record is available. (91)" and then the
next error is " Error attempting to push run time parameters onto the stack.
(984)" I called support and they said that they would send a program to
close the orders, but I would prefer to fix the problem.

Support also mentioned that the problem may have come from a vendor with a
"blank" name and ID, but I ran a report builder report to show the vendor ID
for one of these orders and it came back with an ID of "0".

We used to get them. I think you need to call Tech support for a program to
remove them.
