If you have the service connect tools guide there is a helpful example
in there on setting up a BPM workflow. If you're doing workflows Id
recommend getting it. Since it sounds like you really won't be
filtering on any particular conditions, just sending data out as it's
added, your BPM should be fairly straight forward. If that was a true
statement, on your update method of the UD table you'll create a
pre-process action (you won't need any condition) which will be enable
post process. In your post process on conditions, set to enabled from
(pick your pre-process). Under actions choose Service connect workflow,
and set the parameters as required.

Thanks Rob!
I was afraid that was going to be the answer. I have not set up a BPM
yet but am eager to learn to do so. Is there any documentation out
there to get me started? I downloaded the document from Epicor but like
most of their documentation it doesn't make any sense.
Thanks,

That's a perfect scenario for a BPM. I have a couple BPM's sending data
sets to a service connect workflow. There are business methods for UD
tables, just use the update method.

Subject: [Vantage] Query Export - Continuous Process
I have a problem... Here is my scenario... We are on Vantage 8.03.405A.
I used a user defined table (UD01) to create a menu. This menu's only
purpose is to store a Sales Order Number and a Date. I then created a
query to show all Sales Order Numbers and Dates entered in this User
Defined Table. The query works fine. I would like to export this
query. So I decided to use the Business Activity Query Export Process.
I want this query to be exported continuously, let's say every 60
seconds. I created a new schedule in the System Agent that runs every 60
seconds. I submitted the query to this schedule via the Business
Activity Query Export Process and checked the "reoccurring" check box.
I restarted the appservers. I see the schedule in the System Monitor
but the file doesn't export. Actually, it exports one time right after
I restart the appservers but it won't export multiple times. My
intention is for Service Connect to grab this exported query and process
it through a work flow that I will create. What am I missing here? I
would like to think that this is fairly simple to set up. Although it
is Friday and my brain is only running at 10% of its potential which is
only 10% anyways. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
