So now I read Shirley's post -- THANK YOU!!!! DispClockInTime! How I missed
that--as always, learn something new every day!

That's the toggle I was looking for! I must have looked there 3-4 times but
scanned right past it!!

So I switched it to hours/minutes and did a quick test. Apparently, for time
already entered, DispClockInTime and DispClockOutTime it retains the decimal
format but for new
time entered in goes to minutes format just like I want. So I think I'm
going to keep it in the hours/minutes format and have my RB report start
with this transition date
and not go back to the previous format. Thanks all for the help!!

Is there a way to have RB convert 'decimal' time into 'minute' time. In other
words, if an employee punches out at 3:30 PM I'd like RB to show it as 3:30 PM
and not 15.50. I can get it to show 3.50 PM but I'm not sure how to get the
decimal portion converted to minutes. (Another example: 06.60 would be converted
to 6:36 AM.) Is there a way to do this?

Hmmmm....
Maybe (ClockTime - (INTEGER(ClockTime)) * 60)
In other words the part after the decimal point times 60.
If you don't needs seconds you could round up/down to nearest integer.
I think the final time would have to be expressed as a string (Hour + ":" + Miinute)

Shirley,

My DspClockInTime and DspClockOutTime both appear in decimal format just like ClockInTime and ClockOut Time. (6:30 AM appears as 06.50). Do yours appear and work
differently? If so, do you know where the formatting parameter is to make mine work like yours? I've looked around my can't find anything.

Configuration -> Data Collection, but I don't see it there now. Here, you
could specify if you wants to display time in minutes or decimals. If you
read the 'help' for this screen it discusses the options, but I don't know
where it went????

Yes, but that is only for DISPLAY purposes. The times are always calculated
(and stored) in hundredths...it's that dang decimal system we use for math!
So in Report Builder, the fields will be in hundredths, not in minutes.
