I have a dumb question…
I want to regenerate the data model for our Pilot database. If I stop and start the IIS application pool just for ERP10Pilot, can I do that during the workday and everyone in ERP10Live is still okay?

Assuming that your Pilot and Live don’t share the same app pool, then you should be fine.
And how do I tell if they do?
In the IIS Manager I see the two databases listed on separate lines
Look in the Epicor Admin Console.
The process to regen is a 2 step.
First you select the database in the console and Regen.
After, you select the app server in console and Recycle
Also you must be on the database not the app.
Right click and you can see the regen option.
Example

I have that part. I’m just nervous about the IIS part (Recycle Application Pool). I’m afraid it’s going to halt our LIVE database. I was looking for some direction that. How do I know it isn’t going to?
Mine looks similar to yours. But still, Maybe I’ll test this after hours and do the same thing, stop one and try to login to another.
Snap a pic of your admin console - the app servers will be named appropriately.
I am not RESTARTING IIS APPLICATION POOL (SYSTEM), I STOP APPLICATION POOL (DB SPECIFIC)
Okay, so there’s the difference.
