Rename a label in custom code

I did figure that out, I was able to delete that and got rid of the error, when I opened the form, the customization was still hidden because all my fields were gone.  I just recreated it, i needed the practice anyway!

How do you rename a label in custom code.I have two custom labels with the same name(label1) and now the form doesnt load.All I can do is change one of the label name in custom code.How can I do that?
Tried label1.Text="sd" and label1.Name="sd" but no luck.

If this are custom labels that you added, why did you need to add code to
remove the control. Can't you just open the form in customization mode and
delete the 2nd control.



As an aside, I've run into problems before when adding custom controls with
it giving the same name. As a result, I've just gotten in the habit of
renaming controls to something more meaningful when I add them, so instead
of "epiTextBoxC1", it will be "ProperlyNamedField".

I saved the form without testing the custom code.The new customized form wouldn't load unless I had to remove one of the labels or rename it.So I had to write code to remove the label.
