Vantage 8.03.409C: Customization error

I removed the listpanel and just relocated the labels and Textboxes off of the form (setting the x to -500). So today I will bring them back in and see what I get. Thanks for the idea.

But it is strange that I get UltraGrid errors. It may be from the listpanel. . . It is also strange that I have four grids that I added and three of them I set properties like GroupBy and I get three errors in a row.

It will be a GREAT debug, in the looses sense of the word, day!!

Did you hide / remove the native controls and Panels that came with the form? If so that might be your problem I've ran into an issue before where if you hide all the native Panels when the form loads there is something in the code that sets focus and then that piece of code fails.

If that's not your issue then I would comment out all the code in the InitializeCustom code and see if the error goes away if ti does, then uncomment one line at a time to find the culprit.
If you have visual studio and are in 9xx you can use it to debug the customization.

oh never mind I see you are in 8x. do the comment thing and let me know if it works.

I hijacked the UD01Form to create a new form.  It acts like a dashboard for the most part, but I have to do some manipulation of the data as well as have a summary grid of the data.  So I added 4 grids (Bookings, Shipments, Backlog, and the Summary grid).  Everything was working great.  I was almost done with all of the code and THEN I saved it and rebooted Vantage.  When I opened up the form, I got three error messages all saying the same thing.  I had compiled and saved many times and then this happens. What I do with the grids are a DynamicQueryAdapter.GetByID to add the column Names to the grids.  this is done in the FormLoad function.  I set some column masking, sizing, Column renaming.  I also set the group By and sort by.  All minimal stuff to initialize the grids. I can't figure out what is the problem.  There are no personalizations on the customization.  There is no column name called "Key".  I commented out the InitializeGrids function and I still get the errors. Does anyone have a clue or idea?  I am open to anything, BUT redoing the customization.
