Restricting Bin by UserID

Sweet! Don't you just love catching users in a lie?

We have a few "special" people here. I use a mixture of personalized
searches, customized Menus & BPMs.
Search - They don't know there are other choices.
Menu - I auto populate the fields and sometimes then make them
invisible, so no one knows any better
BPMs - The fun part is creating notices that are politically correct as
opposed to "NO YOU CANNOT MESS UP MY DATA AGAIN"
I also get notified when these people do things they swear they did
not..

Seems like a BPM is the right way to go. Could be interesting, I've
never done a BPM before.

Would that be a Method directive or a Data Directive (I think this is
where I need to do it?)

I've set up a Post Processing BPM to validate the Bin field before. I
cannot think of any way to only allow "User X" to *see* only a specific
Bin,
but you can certainly have a validation BPM to ensure "User X" may only
save
that transaction if the Bin = 'X' (otherwise, throw an exception message
to
prevent saving the record.)

We have a scenario where we want a specific user to only be able to use
bin = 'X'.

Does anyone know a way to do this?

Did you try using a BPM, i have done similar things using a BPM to restrict based on the User ID.
