Right Click Menu

Hi

Has anyone know how to rearrange the right click menu item possible?

For example, on this case at Order Entry where the “Part Search” should be on the top instead of bottom which more user friendly.

Thanks

Well… I’ve never done it in Kinetic but in Epicor 10.2 there is the context menu maintenance which controls what shows up with the right click menus.

great, thanks a lot.

I could found the menu…

I know this is a year late, but were you able to reorder the context menu items? It feels like I’ve tried a thousand different ways to change the order but I can’t get it to stick.

Bumping this old unsolved post again. Can we reorder the context menu items? I looked back at classic too, I couldn’t find any sort column there.

I couldn’t find any way to do it that was Epicor supported, so I resubmitted an old Epicor Idea that was no longer active. Yes… I did just copy it

Could you copy the Context Menu to your company, delete all records, then recreate them in the order you want them to be in?

I thought about doing that in the past, but never tried.

I tried it quick in our test environment. It seemed to work and reorder them, but I worry that an update would override it.

You are copying it to your customization, so I doubt it? If something was overwritten it would be the base one, yours would go over it anyway.

I haven’t deleted all and reordered, but I have custom context menus that have been added to the bottom in multiple places that have held for over a year without issue.

Giving me an error when trying to open the new idea. Says it doesn’t exist.

Idea KIN-I-7347 to search it manually.

Searching for KIN-I-7347 gives no ideas found. Sorting by recent, it shows the newest one as being 7340.

Maybe it’s not visible to others for now.

I find it insane this is not a base functionality…but then again this is epicor.

I can see it now. Maybe there’s some manual approval process on Epicor’s side. Voted.
