I use both REMOTE ADMINISTRATOR product and RDP..
One thing about RDP though....I always launch it from the run menu as MSTSC -CONSOLE so that I see the desktop as I would from the console if I were working on the machine directly.
Makes life easier.

I RDP to the server from my desk. You need to install the remote connection on the server and then it is automatic from XP clients (under Accessories - Communication). It is an optional install on Win2K clients. There is a limit to connections (2?) without buying a license for more but this has been enough to save me a lot of running..-Todd C.________________________________From: vantage@yahoogroups.com [mailto:vantage@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Manasa ReddySent: Thursday, February 21, 2008 10:44 AMTo: vantage@yahoogroups.comSubject: [Vantage] Running the server from a workstationI'm sure a number of you are like me and hate having to run to the server for everything. So I am wondering if anyone works on their Vantage server from a workstation rather than running all the way to the server to do whatever. If so what are you using? If not what are the issues. Thanks in advance!M.
