Sales Kit Issue - 9.05.702A

We found another bug with sales kits in 9.05.701. Changing the order release warehouse to an alternate warehouse will ship the components from the default warehouse rather than the alternate warehouse. It looks fine in customer shipment entry, the alternate warehouse shows up. But when you check the shipped checkbox the warehouses revert back to the default warehouses. It's a pain for us, we have to do an inventory adjustment on all kit components every time it happens. I'm guessing it's a problem in other version also as the target fix is 10.0. I requested a one-off fix several weeks ago as our biggest department deals almost exclusively in sales kits, but haven't heard anything yet. The SCR is 134963 if anyone wants to attach to it.

As far as your original question...we delete components we don't need and add ones if necessary. We use parent pricing rather than component pricing.

I don’t think you can enter a 0 on any Qty per – whether it be a Kit or a Manufactured part.

 

Do you have Parent pricing on the kit or component pricing?

We are set to component pricing. Each of our components use sales kit pricing. We default in the kit components, as most users probably do, but we regularly change some of these components on each order and don't want to have to add/delete the sales kit components. 

According to what we have read and tested this should work otherwise we need a more efficient way to add/delete components. 

Any thoughts appreciated!
