We have found a very similar issue in 8.03.305e which UK support
reproduced in 305L. If we convert a quote to a sales order the needby
and shipby dates do not transfer to the sales kit components and hence
they do not appear on pick lists or in Purchase order suggestions.
They have given it call number 863277BRK. They are sending to
development team.
Goto actions/quote/create sales order
Enter a needby and shipby date and create.
Open new order in sales order entry.
Under summary/lines detail click on kit details box. (see image 2) The
needby and shipby dates have not been populated and need to be added
manually. (Failure to remember to do this causes the components not to
appear in picking lists and has resulted in us having to send out a
second shipment).
The sales girls get around the above 2 issues by deleting kits from a
quote when converting it to a sales order and then adding them back in
as new lines on the sales order
