Scheduling a report - Process Set

Hey

I have a report that we want to schedule weekly to be sent to each customer about job status. The email is part of the underlying BAQ dataset. During testing on a manual preview, it all works so now its time to schedule the report.

I have created a Process Set appropriately named and then went to the report dialog and attempted to ‘save process set’ but when i do that, i get an error message ‘A server error occurred. Review the server event logs for details’ which i dont have access to. I cant find a specific ‘schedule task’ element

My question is:
what the step by step process to get a report to automatically send out weekly on wednesday at 6:00am?

the report has a break routing by customer

  1. Go to your System Agent Maintenance and create a schedule there. Let’s say every Monday at 10.30am:

  1. Run your report with the parameters you need (if any) but, instead of selecting the Now schedule, select the one you’ve just created. Also, make sure you check Recurring. If you need the report emailed with APR, check Routing as well.

Thanks for taking the time to provide a detailed response. Just one final question; once i have set the required style, schedule, recurring etc what do i need to click to put this into schedule? Print, Preview, generate only? If i click Save Process Set i get the error.

No problem. Use Preview, Print will just send it to the printer.
