Session timeout while actively working?

I tend to forget to log out of Epicor and find after sitting idle for 10 hours or more I can continue to work where I let off(my session is still valid), although occasionally I’ll get a session timeout and need log back in. I’ve never understood why, but it wasn’t a problem so never looked into it… Today a user is reporting that while actively working in Epicor they received a session timeout error(screenshot below). Please note I talked to the other person with access to Epicor Admin Console and they did not delete the session.

Any suggested reading that would explain this or is this a problem I should contact tech support about(sessions shouldn’t time out while someone is actively working)?
