I’m having some issues with server side printing. I’ve tried to print material queue tags and some other job related tags form the Epicor menu and I continually get the same ‘RunTask: Error creating window handle.’ error in the system monitor. This happens immediately after I select print for the tags, the print does sit in a print queue or anything like that. The error or failing of the report happens quickly. We’re on 10.1.400. Client side printing works well, only server side printing is causing an issue.
I’ve checked the following and all appear to be in order:
Printer driver is up to date
the printer is set as an ssrs printiner (these are ssrs tags I’m trying to print)
Network paths inside printer maint look correct
the employee ID is linked to a user which is linked to a work station that has the correct printer set as the default printer on that work station
So I’m a little stumped at this point and was wondering if anyone has seen or resolved this issue before?
