Slow Start-Up with XP Pro

I had this problem with XP as well. My issue was with the
anti-virus, exclude the Vantage work folder and mapped drives.

We are running Vantage 5.2, Progress 9.1d. Runs fine on
workstations
with Windows 2000 or NT, but on PCs and Notebooks with a clean
install of Windows XP Professional, we are experiencing extremely
slow startups, and sometimes lockups. Units that had older Windows
versions and were "upgraded" to XP Pro have no problems.

Any suggestions?
