Surface Tablet with E10 Insights

I believe a $300+ tablet can ran Epicor client, so do any surface pro 3
My only concern would be a stable wifi connection

We are looking to buy 5 Windows 8.1 Surface Pro 3 tablets and we currently on 10.0.700. Anyone have any exposure using E10 on these tablets? We are looking to run a full version of 10 on them primarily focused on using MES out on the production floor. Thanks for any input.

I don't know about the tablets specifically, but I have been running 700.3 for almost a year on Windows 8.1 Pro and it runs just fine.

Yeah we've ran them in the Surface Pro 1 without issue so I imagine Pro 3 should be even better.

I assume a full epicor client version has to be run with E10 to get MES to work correctly like you had to do for E9 correct? I know using the EWA option and then using a web browser had some issues with E9.
I assume a full version of E10 needs to be ran on the tablets  just like on E9 for MES to work correctly right? That's what we are primarily focused on is having these out on the production floor running MES. I know on E9 if you tried running MES inside of a web browser on a non-windows platform, it had issues. But if you installed a full epicor client on the tablet and then ran MES from there it was ok.
Another way would be using Terminal Server from the tablets. You can use any tablet operating system as there are a number of remote terminal apps available.

Does anyone have minimum hardware requirements for the Tablet? Specifically CPU,RAM,Drive space?
