Todays update broke dashboards

Not that far off:

Support:
Development can take some time, so I would advise if you can provide the workaround to your dashboards so they can be functional for the time until development returns with an answer.

They are making a PRB (PRB0311573) for it, so I guess it wasn’t a waste of time.

Crap, turns out other aspects are broken as well. Dashboards with multiple views give the same/similar error as above when switching between views:

@mbilodeau You seeing this as well?

No problem here with views. They are all custom made directcly in Application Studio, maybe that’s why they are all working

The dashboard of ours that broke was one that was auto-updated and not built by hand so I think you’re right.

This one is too funny not to post a video.

The dashboard appears blank on open. When I open application studio, the panel card grid is collapsed in the corner and when I try to move it, it just… escapes.

Did you try changing the property-set to the grid-refresh?

grid-refresh refreshes the grid using the underlying provider model.

You have options to do all, includes or excludes. Note when doing includes or excludes it is the ID of the grid model not the Panel card grid. I believe it takes in comma seperated values too.

I’ve had that happen before. I’ve never laughed and been so unhappy before in my life.

I tried, even in combination with “invalidated”, just in case. No success in my case

It seems like the “invalidated” method isn’t broken per se, its that something about the grid is not properly initialized or setup before certain actions are being taken. Which is why its also broken row rules, and multiple views for me.

This needs a hotfix from Epicor imo.

Thank you all for the feedback on dashboards and the development team is looking at the grouping issue. If you have reported an issue in the latest update with dashboards, please message me with the case or PRB number.

If only there were a way to submit tickets via functional areas so Epicor could easily see, group and quantify all of the reported issues.

The thing I was thinking about was getting focus groups together for each form… you know what I’m saying? Just like they do for products like Quick Ship, etc. And just sit down with users of AP Entry, Cash Receipts, ORder entry, etc.

Neither has a PRB yet

I had a really long rant post… But decided on support categorization of tickets correctly and ensuring the rest of the business has access to the support system, and they are trained on using it.
