Too much numbers (positions)!

This is a huge issue with us also! Some of our equipment is extreemely
expensive, and we are struggling with ways to artificially boost the burden
rate. we need a burden of approx $1500/hr to absorb overhead on our largest
workcenter. We set the rate to 999.99 and make a gl adjustment at end of
month for underaborbed overhead. it seems silly to me to restrict the field
to 6 characters, and even silier to force us to use pennies in the
calculation. epicor tells me that someday they intend to increase the
field, but will not commit to when. they have told me we are the only
company that has requested the field increased. it appears to be a real
problem for them to change as they have defined the field width in the
database schema, so if it is ever increased it would only be done on a major
release, not a patch... so far the only solution i have received from
epicor is to utilize custom programming. i am waiting on a bid...

I'm wondering if any of you are working in Vantage with tariffs other than
DOLLAR-values.
We are using Vantage in our present company and plan to start a second
company in another country, but this country uses another monetairy value
(FORINT).

This would be no problem, but this unit requires MORE THAN 3 NUMBERS. E.g. 1
hour of laser cutting costs 12.000 Forint. Vantage only has 3 positions for
these tariffs.
Does anyone have any info on this? This is going to be a big problem for me,
and I'd really appreciate any help on the matter.
