Unfirm Jobs being Deleted after MRP

Can anyone help me with this. Our system’s JSM has stopped suggesting Jobs for Parts. I have been through Part Setup, I’ve done all the obvious things. Epicor help thinks it’s the version I am using, even though JSM is working perfectly for every other part in our system. TI am getting this in the Log Files from MRP
“Deleting unfirm Jobs for Part:AGS-CORE-P48, Attribute Set:‘’” It does not tell my why they are being deleted. We need them! Nobody has been able to solve this. Has anyone had this before??

MRP deletes all unfirm jobs every time you run it unless you specifically set it up not to.

If you run Process MRP with the “Net Change” setting, it won’t delete EVERY un-firm job, but may delete them if there is no longer a demand signal. Alternatively if you run it with the “Regenerative” setting, it will always delete every un-firm job and then create new ones (if there is still a demand signal).

It should be creating them based on demand. Every other part is working as it is meant to. We have a select few parts with a certain operation and resource that are affected by this issue.

What does Time Phase on AGS-CORE-P48 look like?

It is calling for transfers, but just not Jobs. It is isolated to Parts that are using specific operations and resource groups. Everything is looking right, except is not suggesting jobs.

I don’t suppose those parts are set up as Type ‘Transfer’ instead of ‘Manufactured’ in Part → Sites → Detail?

Unfortunately not. It is unique to Jobs with 2 specific Operations / scheduling requirements. When I toggle them back and forth they save as new descriptions. Something strange is happening and I think it is causing EP to not request jobs for these parts requiring these operations.
