Hi everyone,
I have an updateable dashboard which uses two BAQs, both BAQs work and compile with no errors. The dashboard itself works in Dashboard (not updating obviously) The problem is that when I try to deploy it I get the following error. Can anyone advise me what I have done wrong or where to look to try and fix it.
Thanks in advance
Adrian.
If you try to deploy the dashboard with only one of the BAQs in it, does it compile and deploy successfully?
Hi Tyler,
I tried removing each of the BAQs and deploying with just the other one but I got the same error.
Do you have a grid and tracker view for either/each? If there’s a tracker view, did you customize it in the Dashboard program?
I’m wondering if deleting, recreating, and trying to deploy the dashboard again would fix the problem.
No grids or tracker views. There are BPMs in the UBAQ but they compiled ok and as I said the dashboard would not deploy even with just standard BAQ. I will try the dashboard and rebuilding it. I will let you know how I get on.
Ok, so I tried deleting and then rebuilding the dashboard but got the same error. I then tried adding random queries but got the same error as soon as I hit the ‘Test Application’ or ‘Deploy Smart Client Application’. I tried restarting E10, clearing the cache but it still errors.
Are one/both of your BAQ’s updatable?
if you are not using custom UD fields, is it possible to export your dashboard /BAQ and let someone -same Epicor version- run it in his test database
Only one BAQ is updatable. I will try and deploy it in our test environment which has the same E10 version.
It worked fine in the Test environment, so I deleted the dashboard and the BAQs from Live then imported them back in. Touch wood it seems to be working again now. I guess it was just another E10 quirk. Thanks everybody for your help and advice.
Adrian.
