V8 Hardware

My 2c on processors, I will generally choose AMD over Pentium. Tyan has
Motherboards that support Dual Core Opteron Processors. Opteron's give you
flexibility to run either 32 bit or 64 bit operating systems. I haven't
seen any discussion on Epicor's position on the 64 bit situation, I prefer
to have that kind of option. I haven't seen if Intel has that kind of
flexibility. Also, I don't like Intel's heavy hand approach to things.

Epicor recomends using Intel processors. I am wondering if anyone out
there is using AMD AthlonT processors? The reviews I have read which
compared the AMD Athlon 64 3500+ to the P4 were positive. Just
wondering what others think about this?
