We use bar coded travelers which work just fine. Our part numbers can
contain spaces and on the traveler the bar coded part number will print
as one field. However, when I try to create a custom report either in
Crystal or Access using DataWorks Bar 39 font for the part number, the
bar coded number will print as segements up to the space then a gap,
then another bar code segement then a gap and another bar code. Then
the bar code reader cannot read the bar code. Does anyone know how to
get around this issue and have the bar code appear as one field for the
part number regardless of spaces? Any help in Crystal or Access would
be appreciated. TIA.
