This works fine if you use the Merant ODBC drivers rather than the SQL-92 drivers that come with Progress. Another alternative is to export the required table/fields to a .csv file, and then use Access/ODBC to add the table to your crystal report. The export can be automated using the Task Scheduler in Windows. Let me know if you need more specifics.

Is it possible to link a Vantage field that is not in the vntgwork directory

I am testing to see if I can add a userfield to the quote it appears correct
in Crystal but when I try it within vantage Error 599.
